Order Execution » $49.50 - commission? Apr 30, 2009 @ 07:23 PM (Total replies: 1)

I tried today to sell (open position) and to buy (close position) one contract of YMM9 - mini Dow $5 with using api.openecry.com and OEC Trader Developer platform.
Sell Price = 8234; Buy Price = 8246. Net loss = 12*$5 = $60. But my balance was decreased - $49.50 immediately when I opened my position and decreased - $60.00 - $49.50 when I closed the position. What are twice -$49.50 ? Commissions? So hi?
Please advice.

API Support » OEC Trader API Mar 20, 2009 @ 04:51 PM (Total replies: 8)

It's basic - to use OEC Trader Platform like a connector between third party software and OEC server:
1. To get datafeed from OEC Trader Platform but not directly from the server.
2. To send orders from third party software to OEC Trader Platform and after that the platform will send them to server.

API Support » OEC Trader API Mar 19, 2009 @ 09:32 PM (Total replies: 8)

Maybe it's my misunderstanding but I guess that OEC Trader Platform uses OEC API like any third part software working with OEC server. I am interesting now in API to OEC Trader Platform not in server API. The scheme is: Third party software <=> OEC Trader Platform <=> OEC server. I don't have any problem with the scheme: Third party software <=> OEC server.
Please advice.

Dear OEC Team:

Will you create and publish API to OEC Trader Platform? It's very usefull and interesting to connect third part software with your platform. Why not?

Thank you.

API Support » Multi-threading Jan 29, 2009 @ 09:23 PM (Total replies: 2)

One question to OEC team: Is OEC API inside of itself supporting the multi-threading on .net or it's one thread dll ? And how does it work on multi-core platform, any advantages?

Thank you.
