I have a developer who is working with me to create a simple application to pull balances and positions (equities, forex, and futures) from my account and post into a google spreadsheet.

I don't want to provide the developer with access to my live account. I would like them to use a demo account to create the application and to test functionality and then I will provide my credentials to the live version once we get it working with the demo account. Is this possible?

Also, I just received the API login and password. Does that get me just into this forum or is there another use for these credentials?
