1) When does Position->Net->Volume get updated?

A scenario (well-tested):

I place one buy order and and one sell order for the same symbol in two separate orders. There are no open orders remaining for that symbol. Yet Position->Net->Volume is not zero when I check from within these API callbacks:

OnOrderFilled
OnOrderStateChanged

When will it return to 0 and what factors are involved? This will be useful information, thanks much.
