I tried to place a LMT options order on OAUDK3, a Buy Call 99.5.

It gave me this error: Risk violation: 55479:DEMO055479 no quotes.
This demo account is CWeber327.

If I'm placing a LMT order, I should be able to place this order despite the fact there are no quotes, correct? Btw, I am taking "no quotes" to mean "no current bid or ask".

Another demo account I use for testing JBlow619, always allows me to place these LMT options orders when there are "no quotes".

We now have a couple of customers reporting this issue; they have recently obtained demo accounts.

Have you encountered this issue and do you have any thoughts on how it might be resolved?

We are considering to ease this restriction. Changes will take into effect in a few weeks.

Using the account from the original post, I can now place options LMT orders when the bid and ask are 0 (no quotes).
