In the middle of a session, with heartbeats being exchanged the FIX Server sends a Test Message which prompts QuickFix to attempt to logon again.
Why does the FIX server send a Test message when it's receiving heartbeats from the client? Should I ignore these when I'm logged on or attempt to logon again? Client heatbeat interval = 15 seconds. P.S. Can you check the clock time on the FIX server as it differs from mine by about 2 minutes and I've set my time based on the time.gov clocks. How do you know that server received your heartbeat? Test message is a sign that it didn't.
