The Exchange sets an official 'open' price at some point sooner or later in the day, depending on the Exchange and the market. I would like access to this open price, whenever it is posted. Does the API either (1) update the open price with the posting by the Exchange of the official open price or (2) have another field that receives this price (or in some other way makes it accessible)?

I had another vendor that gave me that capability and wanted to know if it is available. Any information on this that anyone has regarding this would be greatly appreciated.

The 'open' price is the first trade price from our API. We do not offer another type of open price. Do you have an example of a contract following such case?
