Hi,

What is the road map for these two APIs? Is GAIN planning to retire the OEC API at some point? I assume eventually there will be equities/options trading at GAIN and I wonder which API will support them, or will they both support it?

We've used both GAIN FIX (fox FX) and the OEC API and we've eventually consolidated around the OEC API. Basically I'd like to know if we should plan to move back to FIX at some point.

Thanks.

The GAIN Futures/OEC API is not going to be retired. The only upcoming changes would be the domain name may change away from openecry.com to a new domain. The API itself will not change.

Equities/options are not offered today and there are no plans to offer in the future. We only offer spot FX and futures.

You may remain on the .NET API as you do today. We do offer access via FIX interface as well, separate from your prior Forex.com FIX connection. Unless you have a special business need, no changes are needed.
