Chen,
Our Support Reps will not be able to assit you with any problems or issue you encounter if using this version. In other words, if the problem is specific to OEC Trader, OEC will provide support. If the problem is a result of the combination of the operating system and the program, Office 2002, that particular problem will not be supported. Microsoft stopped offering mainstream support for Office XP on July 11, 2006. They only support this product if you have some extended support package with them. http://support.microsoft.com/gp/lifeoffice#Office Please let me know if you have any further questions. I see, I see...
I'll be obliged to upgrade my Office to more fresh version soon. It's a great pity. Previous version suited me just fine. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Chen Hua, Russia |

But now I have question that, I think, probably is not in direct relation on Office version.
Some time ago (on previous OECs before 3.4) I tryed to check DOM movies in Excel with simple =UserName|DOM!ESZ9?price?0_Ask and _Bid For more DOM deep view for highest Asks and lowest Bids I increment leading zero by 1 and get in Excel data pattern identical to OEC DOM screen. Now, in case of Asks all it's fine. But, in case of Bids I get reversal pattern: =UserName|DOM!ESZ9?price?0_Bid give me a lowest Bid in DOM. And highest values (9, 12 or 14, for example), give me the first, highest Bid. I can't now - how many Bids are there and what Bid index correspond to highest, actual Bid, that form spread. It's normal or wrong? Is it my old Office guilt? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Chen Hua, Russia |

And now I have installed Office 2003 SP3 with mentioned KB923618.
Bids are reverse indexed... http://piccy.info/view/d558520ee3950cd4029e8765fa36a163/ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Chen Hua, Russia |

The bug has been fixed. The bugfix will be available in the next build of Trader.

Thank you very much. I confirm that bug is fixed. DOM BIDs are in correct sequence now.
However the next bug(?) founded: I enter the following formula: =UserName|tik!'6BZ9?Bid' and get: "Unknown column: BID" Sometimes "Bid" in formula automatically transforms to "BID". Trying to change transformed "BID" to "bid" or "Bid" by hands give no result. Trying to get this formula in "Sample Add-In Book.xls" give me the same error. 'Ask' and 'Last' are working normally. Other symbols that I try are calculated normally too. . - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Chen Hua, Russia |

Chen,
This forum is meant for specific questions about the OEC API. For the Excel DDE questions you have posted lately, it would be best if you requested assistance from our Support department (support@openecry.com). They would be a much better resource to assist you. I have forwarded this thread to them and they will get back with you on this. Regards, Robert Vinicky |
