Market Data » FDAX contract bars beyond 2.27.15 not available in OEC Trader Demo Mar 09, 2015 @ 10:46 AM (Total replies: 3)

GAIN Capital has been contacted and given notice by Eurex and Deutsch Börse that free market data for both live and simulated market data is not available. We are currently working on implementing a sign-up process for live data similar to what has been put in place for the CME.

For simulated trading we are in discussions with the exchange to be able to provide simulated data for demo trial periods. Data was disabled and until further notice it will stay this way.

We have been told by the exchange that these data restriction are not GAIN Capital centric and that other firms providing Eurex market data will also have to comply.

If you have any questions please contact IB Services or Customer Support at: http://futures.gaincapital.com/customer-service/contact.cfm

I will place your request (We'd love it if the api had an OECAPI()->ClosePosition() function) in jira and it will be reviewed for development along with our other clients requests when time permits in our schedule.

Thank you,

Our apologizes for the broken link. This was fixed a few weeks back. The email you have must have been older than this fix.

Order Execution » US Dollar Index DX-M Jan 07, 2010 @ 05:01 PM (Total replies: 3)

These orders would not have gone through the TRAINING (SIM) interface at this time because by design orders are not accepted when the phase is POST TRADE at the ICE Exchange.

We built this TRAINING tool this way to avoid non-RTH trades (i.e. weekends).

You would not see this behavior in Production. Sorry if this has caused you any confusion. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Order Execution » US Dollar Index DX-M Jan 07, 2010 @ 01:42 PM (Total replies: 3)

Technically there are 2 connections: Training and Market. The Training interface stays up all week

ICE Market came down at the scheduled time of 6:10 PM ET.

100106 171001496 W: RTD IPE Market Interface trying to logout from open connections...
100106 171001496 I2. Successfully disconnected from IPE!

The reason for the order reject looks to be a phase change from TRADE to Post Trade:
100105 190000130 I1: IPE 900041 <US Dollar Index> RTD 1293077 <DX-M 1003>. TradingStatus is now O. Rtd (TRADE)
100106 164500233 I1: IPE 900041 <US Dollar Index> RTD 1293077 <DX-M 1003>. TradingStatus is now 2. Rtd (POSTR)
100106 170000200 I1: IPE 900041 <US Dollar Index> RTD 1293077 <DX-M 1003>. TradingStatus is now C. Rtd (ENDTR)

The training interface is setup to only allow orders in a TRADE phase.

Thanks,

Robert Vinicky

Chen,

This forum is meant for specific questions about the OEC API.

For the Excel DDE questions you have posted lately, it would be best if you requested assistance from our Support department (support@openecry.com). They would be a much better resource to assist you. I have forwarded this thread to them and they will get back with you on this.

Regards,
