Hi,

I'm trying to show all prices from Corn Options (and Futures). I suscribe to 50 contracts first, then unsuscribe, after that suscribe to other 50 and unsuscribe, and so on. But in some point, I get the message "Too many requests". I thought If I suscribe only to 50 contracts (the maximum) there would no problems, because I was following this rule (50 contracts as maximum).
¿How many requests I have permitted? ¿How can I obtain all prices from options? ¿Do I have to wait some time between subscribes?
Any suggestion will be apreciated

Thanks in advance

Hello

The limitation is 5000 requests per hour. Any request above this limit will be not processed and you will get "Too many requests" message instead.

Hi,

This limitation of 5000 requests is for a production user?
I use a sim user (connections to sim.openecry.com) and I observed a limitation of 2500 requests, is that just because of the type of the user? or why I cannot reach the limit of 5000?

Thanks!

One request is for Suscribe and a different one is for Unsubscribe? So if I do both (Suscribe and Unsubscribe) I'm making two request in total ¿right?

Yes, this is correct.

However, requests are being counted separately based on their type: order-related or data-feed related.

In your case you've reached limit for data-feed requests (Subscribe/Unsubscribe).

Ah, that helps explain why I seemed to run into this too soon testing options as explained in "Seeking options best practices or example" [0]

Still, it seems that the recovery from this condition is not as fast as described. I often give up with my end-user hat on and reconnect.

The recovery rate I refer to is in this other "Too many requests" thread [0]
